NewsDavid Darwin, Deane E. Ackers Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Infrastructure Research Institute, has been elected to a four-year term as a member of the Board of Governors of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI). Darwin's term began on Oct. 1. SEI is a semiautonomous branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
